is an Associate in the Energy and Project Finance Group,specializing in the petroleum industry and corporate compliance.

She provides legal advice to international exploration, oil service and logistics and multi-trading companies on diverse areas of the law including regulatory and licensing regimes, corporate compliance and international joint ventures. She has also participated in several document reviews conducted in relation to the acquisition of interests in oil block concessions.

Prior to working with the firm, Abiola worked with specialized international organizations including the International Bar Association, the United Nations and the African Union on varied aspects of international law, strategic planning and aid management. She also worked as an independent consultant/rapporteur on certain matters. Abiola is also a recipient of the prestigious Nelson Mandela Prize from the University of Pretoria.
