History

Adepetun, Caxton-Martins, Agbor & Segun was established in 1991 as a partnership by its two founding partners, Sola Adepetun and Afolabi Caxton-Martins,
 
under the name “Adepetun & Caxton-Martins”, to provide professional legal services as a corporate and commercial law firm.

Following the admissions of Funke Agbor and Felicia Kemi Segun into the partnership in 1993 and 2000 respectively, the name of the firm was changed to “Adepetun Caxton-Martins & Agbor” in 1993 and “Adepetun Caxton-Martins Agbor & Segun” in 2004.

In 2007 Taiwo Afonja and Ben Unaegbunam were admitted as partners.

The firm currently has 40  fee earners backed by 22 highly qualified and experienced business support staff headed by a highly qualified Practice Administrator who has been nationally adjudged as the best practice administrator in the Nigerian legal industry (Nigerian Legal Awards, 2010 (Esquire & Business Day)). All these together with our state-of-the-art information technology system enable all our professionals to provide cutting edge legal and business advisory services to our clients.
