The firm's oil and gas practice provides representation and advice on every aspect of the oil and gas industry. This practice area specialises in advising on concession licencing and acquisitions, title examinations, negotiation, prepartion and review of various oil industry agreements including PSC's JOA's, FIA's and MOU's and providing consultation and advisory services on tax implications of petroleum arrangements in the industry.

The firm is also actively involved in the Nigerian marginal fields programme and the Nigeria Sao-Tome et Principe Joint Development Zone and provides advise and representation on the acquisition of interests in this respect.

The firm's oil and gas practice also includes obtaining accreditation with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation and Department of Petroleum Resources, obtaining necessary consents for assignments of leases and negotiating and preparing related contracts.
